The 13oz fabric has become a trendy substitute for the 16oz. The weather in the North America is slightly warmer than Scotland many months of the year and the 13oa fabric is a less expensive option, making it a popular selection. Any real kilt is made of 100% wool and our material and the kilt itself is made in Scotland by mills and crofters many generations old.
